World: Aroumi (ah-roo-me)

Description: A few large continents scattered across a deep ocean. The continents are barren on the interior; a vast dry desert. Vegetation along the coastlines is lush, and protected from the desert climate by ranges of mountains. The oceans are warm and very deep - and home to all sorts of creatures.
Creatures born of the sea and the flame share one world, and strive to keep harmony between themselves. The Vess'ri live deep within the oceans and along the lush coastline, while the Rakkel traverse the immense deserts within the continents. The two races can be found living together in the port cities - and have even merged their royal lines through marriage.
